Hello all,
After removing the Builtin Administrator Group from Veeam Backup & Replication the data collection from my VBR failed.
My user is the Builtin Administrateur with the role Veeam Backup Administrator.
MFA was enabled, so I configure the account like a service account = Same error.
I disabled MFA = Same error
Any idea?

Hello, if you think this was the reason then you can safely put the group back because removing it does not really change anything.
Local and domain members of the Administrators group will still have full access to Veeam Backup & Replication even if you delete this group in the Users and Roles > Security window.

In my case I want to enable MFA at the end. So I have to delete the Builtin Administrator Group.
I ll try with another account
But I m curious how the user could have full access to Veeam Backup & Replication even if I delete this group ?

Ok guys ! I found the "problem" !
The VBR has been installed under a service account. If this account it's not present in the User & role the connection from the EM failed to collect Data...
I reconfiure the service to work under Local System and enable MFA except for the account using with EM.
