Improvement request

Post by Personne »

Direct SAN connection is not available, failing over to network mode...

Why is this message displayed at the end of the backup, in the Statistic windows ?
It would be more convenient to know that the backup mode reversed to another mode at the beginning of the backup, not at the end.

I'm not sure it is the correct place to post this.

Hello Personne,

Could you please clarify what do you mean by at the end of the backup? Probably I misunderstood your question, cause what if there is a failover during the backup job, so there is no possibility to tell about that failover in the beginning, but it will be displayed at HTML report later.

Thank you.

I'm pretty sure it shows what Personne is asking if you watch the RealTime Statistics.

Personne.. common cause of this issue is if you forget to present your LUN's to the backup server.
