Include vmware.log in backups
Not sure if this is the right place to request it, but a job option to include vm log files in the backup would be nice...

Re: Include vmware.log in backups
Can you elaborate on the exact use case? Thanks.

Re: Include vmware.log in backups
In this particular case I'm troubleshooting a VM BSODing issue that goes back beyond the horizon of vm log rotation but really any sort of historical troubleshooting/diagnostics with relevant info in the vm log would benefit from this option.v.Eremin wrote:Can you elaborate on the exact use case? The files are typically just a few MB of plain text which would compress very well and have a near-null impact on backup storage

Sounds good. For now, you can copy those via file copy job or manually, using Files node. Thanks.
