Incremental + Full Backup Schedule

Hi,

New user to Veeam coming from Backup Exec and trying to get my head around scheduling.

I have a job created that backs up my VM's and is scheduled to run using the Weekday setting. The backup mode is incremental with the Active full backup option set for Friday.

With this configuration, will the full backup on Friday take precedent and stop the incremental from running, or should I have the schedule set for Incremental Mon - Thur and the Full backup will automatically run on a Friday as it is set within the job?

Welcome to the forum.
Full Backups have always a higher priority. Your backup on a Friday will be a full backup instead of an incremental one.
