Hi,
the guid https://www.veeam.com/wp-guide-backup-r ... ition.html says that I can configure incremental backups by opening the advanced configuration dialog this way:
Documentation:
Real word
However, in my setup this missing:
I'd like to check (and potentially configure) some details.
Why is this option missing? What strategy is applied? Is it possible to configure it in a certain way?
Thanks, Frank

Re: Incremental option appears to be missing
Hi Frank,
The first screenshot refers to backup jobs for vSphere VMs, and the second one - to backup jobs for agents. Reversal incrementals are not supported for agents, hence the option to choose backup method is missing in agent job wizard. Agent backups are always either incremental + synth and/or active fulls or forever forward incremental if no active or synth fulls scheduled.
Best regards,
Oleg
