Initial Backup to Removable Media

I know I have the ability to perform the initial replication to removable media, but what about initial backup? I need to backup to an offsite location and was wondering if Veeam will allow me to perform that initial full to an external hard drive or Dell RD1000 and then I can take it to our branch over the weekend.

We recommend backing up locally, then using RSYNC to sync backups to remote location. This is more efficient, and most of our customers prefer to do this. You can search this forum for offsite for more information. Thanks!
