I am going to install 4.0 on 2008 R2 server, as soon as I will get new licenses.
Could not find any install documentation.
What are the steps to install 4.0 with database on remote server?
Do I have to create database first?

Re: Install Veam 4.0 with remote SQL server
Hello,
For remote server installation, you should point Veeam Backup and Replication setup to the remote server and state what name of the SQL instance to use, so we could create the Veeam configuration database during the setup, also make sure that you have allowed remote connections to your SQL server in order to have everything run smoothly.
For more information about installation, User Guide etc, please refer to our website documentation, you can find it all under Veeam Backup and Replication section: Veeam.com
Thank you.

Re: Install Veam 4.0 with remote SQL server
Just wanted to add that the account you are running setup must have sufficient privileges to create database on the selected remote SQL server and instance using Windows authentication.
