Re: install veeam updates
As stating in the release notes :
Please confirm you are running version 9.5.0.580, 9.5.0.711, 9.5.0.802 or 9.5.0.823 prior to installing this update
https://www.veeam.com/kb2283
And GA build: 9.5.0.711
veeam-backup-replication-f2/current-version-t9456.html
So you should be fine if you are running 9.5 GA. However, if you do the latest install, I think it already has update 2 slipstreamed (so if you have the latest download, you might already be up to date)

Re: install veeam updates
If you are running 9.5.0.580 (RTM), 9.5.0.711 (GA), 9.5.0.802 or 9.5.0.823 (update 1), you can install update 2
If you are running 9.5.0.1038, you are already on update 2 so you don't need to update anymore
You can check your version number by going to the main menu (in the top left corner the sandwich bar button / three white lines on top of eachother) > Help > About

You can install Update 2 directly.
