Installed the R2 patch onto a Server 2012 R2 installation, now the desktop and Windows menu icons to start the software no longer work. It also seem that there is no longer a Veeam.Backup.Shell.exe executable anymore, just the backed up v7 one.
Any ideas, as I'd like to see if R2 has solved the RPC issues on Server 2003 hosts?

Re: Installed v7R2, now no veeam.backup.shell.exe...
Check if your antivirus has possibly quarantined the new Veeam.Backup.Shell.exe file. You can always make a temp B&R 7.0 R2 install on a different server, and copy the missing files from there. Thanks!
