Instant Recovery Failure
Hi,
One of my instant recovery jobs failed. The console says "Dismounting..." despite rebooting the veeam server, manually dismounting the Veeam datastore and removing the VM from inventory.
The major problem here is that my backup files are now "locked" and unusable. That is, I cannot run a backup, or restore from a backup, as they seem to think they are in use.
Needless to say, this is a pressing issue.
I have contacted support over 2 days ago and had one reply via email saying it's been forwarded onto an Engineer.
Case number 5130741.
I realize this is not a support forum and I have read the rules. I have submitted a ticket, but now I am desperate.
Has anyone out there had the same problem? Do you have a fix?
King Regards,
Gavin

Re: Instant Recovery Failure
Problem solved.
Someone contacted me about 10 minutes after you "pinged" support.
The solution was to clear the locked files entries from the database (4 entries).

Gavin

Re: Instant Recovery Failure
fixed the instant recovery problem by deleting some entries form the database. Now I have an other problem with this job. Veeam support is still working on this case..
