insufficient free diskspace

Hi all

Ran into a problem while performing a backup in veeam
The error was: skipping VM processing due to insufficient free disk space on datastore SAN-SAS-store.

I was taking a backup of a server which resides in the datastore specified in the error. But I was taking the backup to another location which has 500GB of space which is more than enough for the backup.
someone, please help me to resolve this issue.

Hello, you need to free some disk space on SAN-SAS-store, since this is where VM snapshot files will be created by the hypervisor- and they need some space to grow for the duration of backup. Otherwise, datastore will run out of disk space and all of your production VMs running on this datastore will be stopped. Thanks!
