iOS and Android App
Hi Guys
Is there any mobile app on the roadmap? We would like to have an app to check out the Status of our backup Jobs. Only limited functions of Course, it hasn't to be a full Veeam Backup & Replication Console.
Thx
Wayne

There are currently no plans for this. Is the status of the backup jobs the only thing you would like to see? As you could make a page created via Powershell which outputs it according your needs.

No it's not that important that I would start to Code anything in this direction
It would be just nice to have a mobile app with the most basic tasks, being able to check the Status, start and stop a Job.
But maybe it'sonly me who would find this very helpful.
Thx anyway

Re: iOS and Android App
I think a mobile app would be a great addition to your stack of offerings.
I run a number of backup jobs and often I need to disable one or more jobs so that another process can run during after hours, for example server/SAN maintenance or just data migration between one platform to another, without the backup job getting in the way. Once I get confirmation that process is complete it would be great to simply take out my phone and un-pause that backup job(s) so they can run the rest of the night.
+1 from me

Question to the veeam-guys: is it possible to disable jobs via RESTful API? Do you need Enterprise Manager for this or does it even work without? If it is possible we only need some kind of VPN-connection to the veeam-server and a volunteer who writes an app (using xamarin or whatever)

Re: iOS and Android App
Veeam's RESTful API implementation requires Enterprise Manager (as well as Enterprise Plus licensing).
