Hi All,
Scenario. A Windows Admin recovered a file and used his Windows Admin account. This account is stored in the "Manage" Credentials list
Another user starts a recovery. This user can select the account credentials the Windows Admin has used before.
Q: Is it possible to avoid that user credentials are stored after a file recovery?
Cheers!

Re: Is it possible to avoid that user credentials are stored after a file recovery?
Hello,
in the console, the credentials will always be stored. The only workaround (not suitable for every environment) that comes into my mind is doing backups without application aware processing (optional VMware tools quiescense) and doing relegated restores via Enterprise Manager. EM does not store the credentials.
Best regards,
Hannes

Hi Hannes,
Thank you for your quick response and clear answer. We use Enterprise Manager, so EM will do the magic
