ISO not containing SQL Express anymore?

Hey guys,

today I tried to deploy VBR on a Windows Server 2022 using SQLExpress for configuration database. I recognized that the wizard does not go to the next step, it tried to connect to the SQL instance.
This it ran into a timeout because SQLExpress was not installed already. Obviously it seems that SQLExpress is not included in the bundle as it was in the past.

The helpcenter doesn't say a word about this that it is necessary to deploy SQLExpress upfront. Is this correct? Or is there anything which I don't took note of?

Yes, that's true, as stated in What's New:

Microsoft SQL Server continues to be supported and, for the time being, is recommended for environments larger than a few thousand workloads. However, SQL Server is no longer included with the product and must be installed manually

Okay, found the answer in helpcenter ...

-> [For Microsoft SQL Server] You can use an already installed Microsoft SQL Server database only.
