Job canceling when logging off

When I start a backup job manually and log off the job errors and cancels. Is there anyway to set this up so this does not happen? Or is the only way to do this to use the schedule feature? Thanks!

Also if someone is remotely using the backup console on the server I have this installed on, and I log in and try to launch the gui, nothing happens. Is it locked so only one user at a time can use the software?

Yes, with the current version all manually started jobs cancel upon logoff. This is already addressed in Veeam Backup 4.0. Meanwhile, you can use scheduled jobs to address this - scheduled jobs are not affected.

Currently, the user interface does not support multiple concurrent connections. We have added multi-user UI in Veeam Backup 4.0 as well.
