Job Name Max Character Limit

Hey everybody!

I'm looking at renaming some of our jobs and I was wondering if anyone knew the max character limit for job names was. I remember in the past having issues with some FLRs because of file path name, but I haven't had that issue in a while. Thanks in advance!

Tyler, I wasn't able to type in more than 256 characters into the job name field, so looks like this is the limit. As for the FLR issues with very long file names, they are already addressed in v7.

I appreciate it. I wasn't too concerned with FLR as I thought it had already been taken care of. We have our v7 upgrade here in a couple of weeks.

As mentioned in the topic Alexander’s referred to, “Restore to original location” doesn’t have issue with long files paths any longer; meanwhile, “Copy To” still does. Thanks.
