Job Running Very Slow When Backup MSExchange

Post by GEVEWE »

Hello Guys!

I have 3 ISXI Server with 10 VM's Each.
I have 3 Backup Job :
- Job 1 For ISXI 1
- Job 2 For ISXI 2
- Job 3 For ISXI 3 (There is One Exchange Server : 1 TB more/less)

My Backup job directly to storage using FC. Not throught the Network environment, so usually the speed is very fast. AVG 200MB/S.
The problem is when Job Backup the My Exchange Server, the speed decrease very significant. 11MB/S

This is very Poor! Why that can happen? Is the problem come from VEEAM?
Or is there special configuration for Exchange Backup?

Are those jobs similar in terms of specified settings, such as backup mode, target repository, etc.? Can you also provide the major bottleneck, along with full bottleneck statistics?

Or This is the Image URL

2. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bzi3Gx ... sp=sharing

Where Pict 1 is job where the MsExchange Belong, and Pict 2 is the other ISXI Server without Exchange!

Select this particular VM to the left and check what transport mode is being utilized to retrieve this VM data (transport mode [tag] is reported right after the proxy server name selected for processing) and whether CBT is used for its hard disks (look for [CBT] tag).
