Problem on restoring selected files from a Linux VM and copy them to the VEEAM Console Server, all Linux file attributes are lost.
If zip that files, copy that files to local workstation and move them to the destination server the files has wrong attributes, in worst case also executable.
It would be nice to take restored files to a tar-Archive, that can keep Linux file attributes

Re: [FEATURE-REQUEST] Keep Linux file attributes
Hello,
for restore to Linux, we preserve file attributes. I mean yes, with a copy to a Windows file system, the attributes of a Linux file system are lost.
Which problem do you try to solve if you copy the files to a Windows first? Maybe we can fix the root cause easier than creating a tar export.
Best regards,
Hannes
