Latest restore point is already copied
I have a backup job on my site #1 Veeam server which runs at 3:30 AM and finishes after a couple minutes.
I have a backup copy job on my site #1 Veeam server which does a periodic copy daily to my site #2 Veeam server at 4:00 AM with a schedule window of 1:00 AM to 5:59 AM.
Lately the backup copy job has shown "Latest restore point is already copied" but for example today (11/4) the backup file is from 11/4 at 3:32 AM but the backup copy file is from 11/3 at 3:33 AM.
The backup copy job is not copying the newest backup job file. What could be causing this?

Just tried it. I first set the schedule window to "Any time (continuously)" since I'm not concerned about the schedule window for now. After that I right-clicked the backup copy job > Sync now. It still says "Latest restore point is already copied."

The last idea is to check this selection rule and if it's not the case please contact our support team because the behavior seems to be unexpected.

This morning (11/5) the backup job finished at 3:32 AM.
The backup copy job is set to a periodic copy once per day at 4:00 AM.
Are you saying that I need to make sure that the most recent restore point was created within 24 hours of the backup copy interval? Because it was created only 28 minutes before the backup copy job interval.

It should be within the specified copy interval back from the copy jobs start time so 28 minutes fall there perfectly. Did the backup copy pick up that restore point?

It continues to copy the previous day's backup instead of the one created less than 30 min before the interval begins. Just like the example in my OP.

Thanks. What I mean is that when the interval ends, the job should start the new one and start copying the newly available restore point. Let's see what our engineers could say after reviewing your setup closer.

I may have resolved this myself. I manually started the backup job and then when it was finished I manually sync'd the backup copy job. The manual sync copied the backup that was scheduled that morning though, and not the one I had just created manually.
After that the scheduled backup job and backup copy job ran and the newest backup was finally copied.
I don't know what caused the problem but if everything runs fine again with the next scheduled jobs then I'll consider this strange but resolved.

Thanks for update but anyway I recommend to wait for analysis results from our support team, maybe it would be possible to explain the behavior based on debug logs data.
