Hello,
I would like to configure a firewall on my linux hardened repository but I don't find anything on the veeam documentation about the ports used when it's Veeam hardened repository.
Could someone say me what I need to let open ?
I already installed it with no firewall enabled.
Thanks

Re: LHR Ubuntu ports
I believe LHR configures it's firewall automatically, unless this changed recently? Can you check the current rules?

Re: LHR Ubuntu ports
Hello,
yes, we do configure the firewall automatically (if present) and rules change during backup.
Ports are the ones for Linux Repositories (port list).
Best regards
Hannes

Re: LHR Ubuntu ports
Hello,
Thanks for your answer.
Finally I just tested it and it’s “easy”.
I just setup the linux hardened repository and add it to Veeam.
After it, I execute “ufw enable” to enable the integrated firewall with Ubuntu 24.04.
Restart the linux server and the rules are automatically added.
6160 + 6162 are added and then it dynamically add the 2500-3000 as needed during the backup.
For sure, if you want to be able to connect to SSH on the server later (normally not needed since 12.2) you have to add the rule for SSH.
