Did I a lot of reading but could not find an answer to a very simple question.
I have two ESXi 5.1 Servers running on two Dell 2950s.
The description of the Dell servers are as follows:
Processors
Model Inter(r) Xeon(r) CPU E5420 @ 2.50GZ
Processor Speed : 2.5 Gz
Processor Sockets : 2
Processor Cores per Socket : 4
Logical Processors : 8
So am I correct t assume that I need 2 licenses for each Server for a total of 4 licenses for both Servers or is it
more complicated than this?
I read the forum, everywhere but could not find a definite answer. Thanks for replying

Re: License advice for 2 Dell 2950
Hello Hendy,
Yes, you're correct, you will need to 2 licensed sockets for each server (4 in total). Should additional info be required, please take a look at our sticky F.A.Q. topic.
Thank you.
