Todd, most likely the license got generated incorrectly. Please contact our support or sales from new license (and please provide existing licenses so that we could investigate what is happening).

No ideas - I have not seen such issue reported before. May be some unusual host name in your environment is causing this. Our support should be able to find the exact reason from logs. Please open a case and provide both licenses along with all logs from Help | Support information.

teldredge;

There is an issue when an ESX host in a farm has either disconnected, or has another problem related to it's own licensing. We have a fix for this particular problem at this point in time, please advise if you have already recieved it via Support, or if you still require this correction.

Thanks!
