License has expired?!

Post by perjonsson1960 »

Folks,

When B&R today tried to autoupdate our licenses, there were errors both for sockets and instances, saying that the license has expired. Our licenses have definitely not expired! What is going on?

This error comes from the backend systems. Perhaps something is not right with your contract in our customer database. You should open licensing support case.

Case #05117457

At first I got an e-mail with this message:

"Thank you for contacting Veeam Licensing Team. Your licensing request number is 05117457."

And one (1) minute later I got another e-mail which included this:

"Everything changes and Veeam Support is not an exception. Sending an e-mail to support@veeam.com is not a valid way to report an issue at the moment.
Please log in to our Customer Support portal to open a new support case."

I DID login to the customer support portal and opened the case there!!!

Right, but I guess your Out of Office reply did not do the same ;)

Oops... Sorry... That didn't cross my mind. ;-)
This license issue made me step into this, although I am on vacation.
Anyway, I have supplied our license files in the case as requested.
