The application must also be compiled with debugging

This is quite beyond my understanding but it sounds like there is an issue with configuration database record that contains licensing information. It would be best if you contact our support with this error and full product logs, so that they could involve developers to investigate this.

Thanks. I've got a case open. Figured I'd post it here as well in case anyone else had run into the issue. If its an easy fix in the end I'll post the resolution too...so anyone else who has the issue in the future can utilize it.
