Licensing Question
Hello,
We are an MSP looking to replace our existing backup solution which we offer to our customers. I have two main questions:
1. Do Veeam offer licensing on a per-VM basis, which we can then use to backup VM's onto a dedicated NAS at the clients site?
2. In select cases, can we use Cloud Connect replication in conjunction with per-VM licenses to send these backups off-site without having to use a VPN?
Many thanks.

Re: Licensing Question
In relationship with Point 1 however, there are different options and rules depending on the regions your company operates, so I'd check for details with a Veeam sales representative.

Re: Licensing Question
Thanks for your help.
Could you please elaborate on point 1? I've spoken to a few people and have received conflicting information. Apparently the use of per-VM monthly licenses stipulates that you can't use a NAS at the clients site? We operate out of the UK.
Many Thanks.

Re: Licensing Question
I'm waiting for final words, but I've got so far the same answer internally, that's why I was suggesting to ask. By the way we sent an email yesterday to the account you used to register on this forum in these regards, can you please check?

Re: Licensing Question
Hi Luca,
Could you please re-send the email to me? I've just updated the email address I have on file here. If you could sent it to the new one that would be great.
Thanks.

Re: Licensing Question
Are you suggesting a centrally managed console for Veeam backup jobs for all your clients?
