Hello,
i'm not pretty sure about the license for Veeam Backup Essentials 9.5.
We have an infrastructure with 4 single socket ESXi servers but more than 50VMs.
I'm from Austria and if i translated from the German Veeam Homepage it means, that the Veeam Backup Essentials 9.5 can be used for maximum 6 sockets OR maximum 50VMs (and not which one is higher). On the english homepage its callup "up to 6 sockets or 50VMs".
Can we use Veeam Backup Essentials 9.5 with <6 sockets but >50VMs?
Thank you
Regards
Sascha

Re: Licensing - Veeam Backup Essentials 9.5
Yes, certainly.
6 sockets is the limit for perpetual per-socket license option.
50 VMs is the limit for subscription per-VM license option.
They are not related to one another.
