Limit CPU usage of VeeamAgent - Cloud machine backup

Hello,

We are starting to use veeam to backup our Azure vms through the Veeam Agent (Cloud machine protection group etc).

We observes that the veeam agent makes the CPU of the server go 100% , and staying there.

Is it possible to throttle the agent? The only thing we've found is under Protection Group where we can choose Backup I/O control , Throttle agent activity on: Workstations, Servers, All hosts.

But it seems to be regarding I/O (Disk usage?) not CPU?

We need to limit the CPU usage of the veeam agent.

A oberservation, even though the VM/Server is running 100% CPU the machine feels and performs like its not using 100% CPU?

Like the Veeam agent takes all the CPU it is allowed to, but it gives space to all other processes?
