Limitations of using SQL Express

Hello,

Good morning, we are doing a SAN based backup here to a 14TB backup LUN.

I am a little concerned that holding this amount of metadata might be too much for SQL Express.

Does anyone know of any limitations using Veeam and SQL Express; should we be looking at using a real SQL server, or will the free one suffice?
