Linux hardened (Case #07591827)

Post by Mark_j00225 »

How can I solve this error to become familiar with the solution? I am creating a hardened Linux solution. A Linux machine is connected to a PowerScale using an NFS share, and only one user has access to the repository on the Linux machine. A Veeam server is connected to this Linux, making it a hardened repository. When I try a backup job, it gets stuck at zero progress. I can see a backup file inside the PowerScale, but I receive an error message on the Linux machine. What could be causing this error?

Hello,
and welcome to the forums. To use PowerScale / Isilon as Hardened Repository you need to make it behave like block storage because only block storage is supported.

dsmISI does that (it's a 3rd party offering). https://www.veeam.com/sys119 & https://www.veeam.com/sys332

Best regards
Hannes
