Dear All ,
I recently upgraded to VBR version 12.3 but could not upgrade my hardned Linux repo getting the below error:
Resolving backup server certificate's thumbprint Error: Remote failed with message: /opt/veeam/deployment/veeamdeploymentsvc: Failed to get server fingerprint: there is no certificate at /opt/veeam/deployment/certs/cert.p12
As I understand once I provide the sing use credentials the VBR should connect and upgrade ?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Linux hardened repo fails to upgrade
Hello Faisal
Credentials for upgrading are not required since I believe v12.1 with some Patch. Clicking on Upgrade should just update the binaries on your hardened repository to version 12.3.
Looks like somehow the certificate is missing. Please contact our customer support team for such issues. We cannot troubleshoot them over a forum topic.
Don't forget to provide us with the case number.
Thank you,
Fabian

Re: Linux hardened repo fails to upgrade
Hello, we encountered the same problem. We have solved the problem with support. You need to restart the Linux server (Hardened Repository), then edit the Linux server in the managed servers (Backup Infrastructure view > Managed servers > right-click the server and select Properties) and re-enter the credentials (Single-use credentials for hardened repository). Veeam will connect to the Linux server, reconnect and update the components.
