Hello,
One of my customer would like to move from Ubuntu 22.04 to debian for Linux hardened repository with veeam 12.1
Will it work ? I can see debian is supported as repo.
Is it a recomended path ?
Thanks

Re: Linux hardened repository
Hello, Veeam is fine with any Linux distribution from the list of supported OS versions. I don't know if it's a good idea in general because the majority of users use Ubuntu, which is comforting. Plus you will lose the ability to easily implement DISA STIG hardening. And no real benefits in return. Thanks

Re: Linux hardened repository
Thanks for your answer.
DISA STIG hardening is great but only easy to implement with 20.04 for now with the script provided by the community.
I'm waiting for the 22.04
