Log all user activity / manual actions in a log

Is there a log that shows all user actions / manual actions performed in either VBR directly or through the console?

To ensure confidentiality of the backups I need to be able to log all manual actions and save this log in another location.

The security teams wants to use this log to ensure that backups or backup jobs were not altered / restored / removed when the credentials of a authorized user are compromised.

Is this log already available or can it be created using powershell commands?

And the enterprise Manager has some Audit Logs too, which can be exported to csv

Hi All,

Yes, we have Veeam Oene deployed. I did find the report that shows the restore actions performed by restore operators.

I'll review the audit logs to see if this satisfies the security team.

Hi All,

The audit log (%ProgramData%\Veeam\Backup\Audit\) only logs restores. I want a log that shows all manual actions, for example creating a new PG, removing backup jobs, etc.

Is there a way this can be added to the audit log or is there another log for this?
