Log File Location Change - 3.1

Post by alecprior »

The log files on our Veeam server seem to be split between the Local Settings folders of a number of different users. I presume because the logs go to the folder for the user that created each job. Is there any way to change this location for jobs that already exist? I'd quite like to get them into a useful place and out of documents and settings altogether.

Hello Alec,

Actually location of the log files are hard coded. Could you please tell us what version of Veeam Backup and Replication are you currently using? In 4.1 version all the log files are saved to the profile which is stated at logon information for Veeam Service. As all the jobs are started using service account now, all the log files are located at one place.

Thanks!

Alec,

In this case, I would recommend you upgrading to our current release, which should help you to store all the logs at one place at least.
