Hi,
I would like to have Veeam rotate logs on jobs that aren't running.
On the VBR server it doesn't rotate logs for jobs that isn't scheduled. This happens pretty often in large setups.
When having several proxies, jobs doesn't always use the same proxy, thereby leaving job logs on the proxy, which isn't actively being used by the backup job.
On the repository servers, job logs are left when jobs aren't no longer scheduled.
When deleting the job, logs will not be rotated/deleted.

Re: Log rotation on all VBR components
Hi Henrik
Sometimes some logs are required for troubleshooting purposes even after the job was deleted. It would make sense to keep them at least for another few weeks, but not for forever.
Currently there is no solution in the product to remove all this logs. As a workaround, you can use scripts on your systems which removes every job log which is older than let's say 30 days.
Thanks
Fabian
