Looking to disable a client in a job

Post by AndyGDIT »

I have several servers in a job, and an application admin is asking to hold there backups for a few days while they troubleshoot some errors. Instead of deleting the VM in the job, is there a way to disable it? Would I just use the exclusions button in the Virtual Machines selection?

Thanks

Andy

Andy, you cannot add the same VMs in both lists (backed up VMs and excluded VMs). I think the only sensible way to stop these VMs from being backed up is to delete them from the job. Then when troubleshooting is over, you can re-add these VMs back to the job and map it to their existing backups to continue incremental chain. Thanks.
