Hi Guys,
I have a replication job for a server which replicates hourly during business hours and there is no retention on the job yet I have around 42 restore points (41 VRB files on the data store) and rising. Upon looking at the restore points I have one synthetic full and multiple rollbacks.
Is this normal behaviour? Just want to check I haven't configured anything incorrectly.
Cheers
Josh

Re: Lots of VRB files / restore points?
I think having "no retention" is the equivalent of "retain forever". I believe you will want to define a retention policy to have Veeam actually remove rollbacks. If you truly want no retention of rollbacks I think you have to configure a rentention policy of "0".

Re: Lots of VRB files / restore points?
Right you are. I just set it to 1 (0 automatically changed to 1) and it removed all the previous VRB files!
Thank you
Thank you
