Malware Detection Exclusions
I wanted to test inline malware detection and enable it in my Lab cluster. But I can only enable it globally, not on a vSphere object/cluster or job base. I can exclude objects, but it seems that I can only create excludes based on VMs or tags. Not clusters or other infrastructure objects. In a small environment this might be easy, but even for things like creating additional tags we have a process here (they are created based on CMDB fields). Is this again not possible as excludes from infrastructure are considered evil?

Re: Malware Detection Exclusions
Hello Pirx
It's indeed not possible to exclude an entire cluster object today.
I will add it to our list of enhancement requests for the Malware Detection feature.
Best,
Fabian
