Manual upgrade of transport service

Post by Matt@Work »

Hi

Is there a way to manually upgrade the transport service on a backup proxy server.

Our server is remote and the B&R server is timing out I think when trying to copy over files, as I'm getting a DoRPCWithBinary failure.

Our backups run fine as we are still testing those.

I've just upgraded the main server with patch 3 on version 6.5.0.109 so it now shows version 6.5.0.144.

Is there a set of files I can manually copy to the server and run the installer myself?

Thanks

Matt

Matt, if the automatic upgrade procedure fails, I believe you can copy the Veeam Transport Service setup package located in C:\Program Files\Veeam\Backup and Replication\Backup\Packages folder (by default) to upgrade the proxy. Thanks.
