mapping job to copied VBK file
If I copy a full backup file to a new repository, can I create a new job (backing up the same VM's that are in the VBK) and map it to that copied VBK? This way the full is already done, and could start with incementals.
I have tried this and it doesn't seem to recognize the copied VBK's. I copy to new storage, add it as repository, but the repo shows empty when I create job and hit "map backup"

Have you rescanned the new repository after copying files to it?

Have you copied VBM file along with the created VBK?

No i didn't copy the VBM. Should I?
I wasn;t sure if that would mess up the source job. I want to keep that job in tact, and start a new job using a copy of the most recent full (which is what I copied to the new repo)

Yes, you should. Mapping to an existing backup is not possible without VBM file.

Re: mapping job to copied VBK file
Over the weekend the synthetic fulls for these copied jobs ran, and failed with "Not transformed OIB was not found"
This was after copying the VBK and VBM to new repository
Any ideas?
