max concurrent tasks and replication
Curious about something. 3 linux proxies, each with 'max concurrent tasks = 2'. Replicating 2 WS2019 and one VCSA. I noticed that there were only ever 2 vdisks being replicated at a time, but both were being serviced by the same proxy, which was doing hot-add of the source *and* target disk. I assume that's normal? e.g. I can see why it's an advantage to have the proxy hot-add source and target disks, so that's only counted as 1 concurrent task?

Re: max concurrent tasks and replication
Hello,
sounds like you replicate within the same environment. So that would be normal, yes.
One disk = one task in VMware & Hyper-V
Best regards,
Hannes
PS: it sounds like unnecessary overhead to have so many proxies for such a small environment

Re: max concurrent tasks and replication
I run a daily (3AM) backup job and a weekly (late night saturday) job. Other than that, these 3 proxies have minimal disk sizes and use virtually no cpu when not active, so I'm not concerned.
