Hi,
We are troubleshooting a case with a VM that keeps spiking in memory. It is a Windows 2008 R2 SP1 VM and Microsoft is involved. They are telling is that "The last Perfmon and poolmon shows us that around 10:14 pm on 4/9/2012 we have a sudden large drop in available memory when VeeamOibIndexer starts becoming active and moving large amounts of I/O."
I figured I would post on the forums before opening a ticket as I do not suspect his is a Veeam issue as we have 50 other VMs that run fine with Veeam Backup. But if anyone has heard this or knows what the VeeamOibIndexer actually does it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Memory issues and VeeamOibIndexer
Do you have Veeam file level indexing enabled for this VM?

Re: Memory issues and VeeamOibIndexer
Thanks! Now let's get back to your initial question - VeeamOibIndexer process is used in file indexing purposes, try to temporary disable it and see if this changes the VM behavior or not.
