Hi there,
my situation is this:
1. having some folders with backups which where synced by our storage to another site.
these are not known to the veeam server
2. having replcaed this syncs with a veeam backup copy job
is it possilbe to move the old files from the sync to the new copy folder and merge them to the backup chain?
i want to get rid of the fragmentation.
thanks in advance

Re: Merging backup repositories
Hello Damian
You can move those backup files to a new folder on the repository server and start a rescan of your repository.
Backups will be displayed as important. Do not move them to the same folder where the copy job has created its backup files.
Best,
Fabian
