Merging of notification mails
Hello everyone,
Is there a method to merge notification mails? We have about fifteen jobs and since activating VM retries on one, we receive 18 emails per run. I expect nobody is even reading them anymore.
Wouldn't it be possible to collect all those job notifications and send them in a merged mail at a certain point in time?
Regards,
Marco

Re: Merging of notification mails
Hello Marco, I`m not sure I fully understood your question.
What kind of emails you get during the job run? If we are talking about notifications from jobs` retries, you can select the Suppress notifications until the last retry check box to receive a notification about the final job status.
By the way, Veeam One provides more flexible notification options. Thanks!

I mean the notifications on job completion, sorry.
What I'd like instead of a per job notification is a overview of the last 24 hours activity.
And I did not see that option. Thank you, that helps with the retries at least.

I would suggest doing next:
Uncheck "Notify on success" in the global notification options, enable it in exact jobs` notifications if you need. So you will get only notifications about errors and warnings.
And you can schedule VM Backup Status report to send you daily statistics.

The Status report you mentioned, is that part of Veeam One? Because that we don't have and I don't see it happening in the foreseeable future...

Yes, it is. You can get a free trial version to see if you need it.
Besides Veeam One capabilities, you can leverage some basic VBR reporting.

Also, it might be worth taking a look at Enterprise Manager. It doesn't require any additional product license and is capable of making short daily e-mail reports for all your jobs. Thanks.

[MERGED] Feature Request Daily summary for jobs
00984910
I would like to schedule multiple jobs and some will run multiple times in a day. I don't want an email after each job run. I would like a daily summary of all jobs ran for the day and completion status.

Re: Feature Request Daily summary for jobs
Hello and welcome to the community Tong,
The functionality you are looking for is included in the Veeam Enterprise Manager's Operation Statistics dashboard. It can installed from the setup bundle for Veeam B&R, so worth checking.
Additionally, feel free to test Veeam One solution, a monitoring, reporting, and capacity planning tool which can work tight with Veeam Backup and Replication. I believe such reporting functionality should be available.

Hello Tong,
As was described above you can either schedule VM Backup Status report to obtain the detailed information if you have Veeam ONE or use Veeam Enterprise Manager.
Thanks!
