Ever since I upgraded from v10 to v12 and switched the email notifications to use Microsoft 365 modern authentication instead of basic SMTP the email notifications have not been working.
When I go into general options and authorize it says that the token is valid, and the test email works fine. However, as soon as I save that, come out of the options and go back in, it just changes back to "Authorization Required". For whatever reason it is not saving the token to use for email authentication, so the email notifications are not being sent.
I've installed the latest patch to see if this resolved it, but it didn't change anything.
Can anyone advise if this is a bug that needs fixing, or if there is some kind of workaround to resolve this?

I can see the same in my lab (Authorization Required after saving). But I still get the mails.
Do you not get any mail after saving the configuration?
Could you please open a support case and let me know the case number? I will make sure to check the issue with the help of your logs.
