Microsoft DFS backup via Veeam.
Is it possible to backup MS DFS member server via veeam ? I am looking for documentation on this topic something like Best practices or how to but unable to find online.

Hello,
the main question is what you want to restore from DFS. If you search the forums, you will find several forum threads on different topics.
If you use DFS just as a "large virtual file system" without any replication stuff, then there is nothing special about the data itself (VM based or image based with Veeam Agent for Windows). You can also use NAS backup (file based backup). A DFS namespace restore is an open feature request.

This is DFS with numerous files, almost 6-7 TB data there and it's replicating as well.

the question is still what you want to restore: if "files only" then you have the options I mentioned above.
