Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with building a Microsoft Search Server and using it to index Exchange 2013 data for eDiscovery purposes? I know searching keywords are possible through Veeam Explorer for Exchange but it is very slow. Looking at the document below, it says its not required to build a Search Server anymore with Veeam v9 search capabilities. Does anyone know if Exchange eDiscovery is compatible with Search Server?

Re: Microsoft Search Server for Exchange 2013 eDiscovery
Hi Hai. No, Search Server has no play with Veeam Explorer. To make eDiscovery faster, just move the required backup to a faster storage device. And if performance still deserves for the better, then you can try extracting actual mailbox database files from backup, and search those instead. Thanks!
