Migrating VBR to a new VM and physical host, v9.5->11a

Just wanted to confirm:

Doing a "replacement upgrade" from 9.5 running on Win2008 to 11a on Win2022. Basic deployment with 1 VBR, a couple of VMware servers, a dozen VMs, local NAS for storage + off-site object storage. Following migration instructions here: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110

1) There is no issue with going from 9.5->11a, exporting and importing settings?

2) There is no issue with the fact that the new VBR is on a VM that is on a different physical host and not the same as original? (so previously local VMs are now not local and previously remote vms are now local).

Bonus question:
Plan is to also use Veeam One for reporting and compliance purposes. OK to install Veeam One on the same VM as VBR and use SQL Experss for this small deployment? There is a full SQL in the environment, but it runs an ERP and I would rather not put even more onto it.

No issues, you can import configuration backups from V9.5 Update 4b and above into Veeam V11a.
But you must be on 9.5.4.2866 to do that. So please check your build number first.

No issue there. Configuration can be imported to any host or vm where Veeam is installed. Make sure that it is encrypted, so that all credentials are migrated properly.

Difficult to say. It is recommended to use at least a sql standard server. Veeam One is collecting a large amount of data if you monitor your backup environment and especially if you choose to monitor your virtualization infrastructure too. DB maximal size with SQL Express is 10GB. Doesn‘t look much if you have a few dozens of vms to monitor. But I don‘t have the experience to say, that 10GB is enough.
Use the Veeam One Database Calculator first to calculate how much space your Veeam One database requires.

I've used the calculator and entered the data about this particular client's environment and it shows approximate size for SQL of 1GB needed by Veeam One, so we may be OK here.

Yes, and if not, you can always migrate the database to a higher edition.
