Missing Files or Folders to create the NFS Share
I am trying to setup the Virtual Lab and the configuration wizard is getting stuck during the configuration of the virtual lab when it is trying to mount the NFS share. Apparently this path no longer exists on the server probably due to some configuration changes. I have tried to recreate the path but it appears there needs to be some files in the folder as well and I am just wondering the best way to rebuild this folder without the need to reinstall the software completely. I am sure there is a simple solution?
Re: Missing Files or Folders to create the NFS Share
Hello Justin,
No special files in target folder are needed. Please refer to this topic: Changing vPower NFS Datastore, it explains how to change NFS datastore location. Thanks!

Re: Missing Files or Folders to create the NFS Share
Thanks .. was using a mapped drive in the registry.. sounds like it has to be UNC path only.
Re: Missing Files or Folders to create the NFS Share
Yes, using UNC path is the correct way. Mapped drives are per-user setting of Windows Explorer, and only available when the user is logged on to the computer interactively.
