Hi,
We are missing restore points in the Backup Copy repository. The files are lying on the NAS filesystem, but we cannot see them as available restore points ? There was an protocol change from NFS to SMB for the same target, may the problem come from there ?
We tried to do an repository rescan but this doesn't change the situation.
New copied restore points copied from the backup job could be seen.
Case # 05025080
Thanks

Re: Missing restore points in Backup Copy repository
Hello,
and welcome to the forums.
If you only changed the protocol on the storage side, then the restore points are still there. VBR only cannot access them for whatever reason (protocol also needs to be changed in VBR).
I suggest to continue with support, as there are some steps missing in the description what you did and it looks like that there are already new restore points (which makes troubleshooting via a forum pretty complicated). It might even be a permission issue (not sure how SMB and NFS permissions are handled by your storage)
Best regards,
Hannes
