Mixing Tier A and Tier B licences on one Veeam Backup server

Post by jprodelal »

Hello,

I would like to ask you, if is possible to mix Tier A and Tier B licences on one Veeam Backup server in one licence file?

Last information I have is that it is not possible, but I hope things got changed, cause there will be more customers with such a mixed environment and having only Tier B licences is expensive and having 2 backup servers is not very comfortable for managing.

If there is no way, do you plan such a thing in near future? When?

Thank you for your answers.

Jaroslav

Yes, you can merge Tier A and Tier B licences, in the Veeam portal.

Thank you for your answer!

I have also confirmation from Veeam team, that merging is supported.
